The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Cuts Out The Middleman Again – Victor Can Be Exposed?

The Young and The Restless: Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) went directly to the Ranch main house. Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) frantic demand provoked action and Phyllis again cut out the middleman in responding.

Devoted viewers recall that she chloroformed Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) to take control of Newman Enterprises. Weeks earlier, she stole the artificial intelligence program from Cane and handed it to Victor to create what she believed was a deal with the former king of Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Phyllis sits on the throne momentarily. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) must have been watching The Godfather series of classic flicks because he’s behaving like an underworld boss in claiming to have kidnapped Cane’s wife and children, and now in actually abducting and keeping Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) restrained on a yacht.

Patty Williams Seems Serious And Mentions A Lake

Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) is more coherent than she’s been in many years. Yet, her stunning appearance on the yacht where Victor put Jack implies that she’s still working the bad side of life.

Devoted viewers recall that Haiduk’s character was involved with Ian Ward (Ray Wise) during her last appearance on Y&R. As Jack told her, he believed she was still receiving treatment and was being held in a maximum-security mental health facility.

Well, apparently not. She’s part of Victor’s water-based chess game that might be playing out on a lake, rather than an ocean, as it seemed. The Moustache’s sole intention is to use a massive show of scary force to get his company back. Phyllis refused to relinquish it and told him so.

Billy Abbott Used To Lure Bigger Fish

While Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) talked about fish in connection with his days as a professional poker player known as Spider, and while he was suffering amnesia in 2019, Billy was being used as bait. Victor kidnapped Jack as a means to lure Phyllis to the table.

Stafford’s character said she would negotiate, but Victor corrected her. He said that she received his demand that she turn over Chancellor in exchange for Jack. Phyllis wanted Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the Ashby twins, Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson in 2019) and Charlie Ashby (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry in 2019).

The Young and The Restless: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)

Billy’s relay of his conversation with Phyllis to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) created further panic. His text to Victor, promising to get Chancellor back so Jack could be released, was also behind the soapy times as viewers and Braeden’s character knew.

Phyllis Summers Holding Power Tightly

Victor threatened Phyllis when telling her that not turning over Chancellor would be to either her or Jack’s peril. She told Victor that he never intended to harm Lily or the twins and wouldn’t hurt Jack.

Something could happen to Jack, and Phyllis may soon realize that. She’s right about Lily and the twins, with that part of Victor’s angle feeling like it will be resolved soon. Releasing Lily, Mattie, and Charlie while continuing to hold Jack would be a good chess strategy, with the former head of Newman Enterprises having already made multiple moves that no one anticipated.
