Days Of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers: A Long-Awaited DiMera Funeral and Bayview Battles

A Funeral To Remember
Well, after all these years, Stefano DiMera (the late Joseph Mascolo) is finally dead. We thought he was dead more than a decade agowhen Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) shot him right in the DiMera living room, but when Hope needed to be set free, the show decided Stefano was really alive somewhere out there. Now that his bones have been found, it’s time to bury him for good.
Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) apologizes to EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) for making him believe his father was alive because she felt his presence. But his presence was apparently just his bones. The DiMeras cremate Stefano and hold a funeral, with EJ vowing that his father’s legacy will live on. That can either be a good thing or a bad thing.
Kristen Vs. Brady
Not only does Kristen DiMera (also Stacy Haiduk) have to deal with her father’s funeral this week, but she also has to deal with Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) and her problems at Bayview.
After seeing the note from Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), Kristen wants Rachel out of there as soon as possible, but Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) still does not agree with her. Brady decides to take the bull by the horns and enlists Tate Black (Leo Howard) to talk to his sister about Sophia and get through to her.
Meanwhile, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) visits with Sophia again and the two girls make amends. Holly is happy, but is it real? Sophia has to be up to something, right?
Other Salem Happenings
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is able to get more information out of Liam Salejko (Hank Northrop) about the DiMera kidnapping. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) later has a long talk with Liam about what he did.
And finally, Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) returns to town to spin a very convincing tale about Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but is it actually true?
