Clearly, we are talking about Laura, who is played by actress Genie Francis. It seems like more and more General Hospital fans agree that it’s time for her character to get a wardrobe upgrade.
There’s no doubt that a lot of people would agree that Genie is a very beautiful woman, but at the same time, it seems like her clothes are stuck in time. Someone take this woman shopping and give her outfits that reflect 2026 and not 2006, right?
As our loyal readers can imagine, General Hospital viewers certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even wrote comments such as, “I think her wardrobe is matronly and she should cut her hair, or at least give it some shape, her hairstyle isn’t very flattering.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “Genie Francis is a beautiful woman. Why is she always in a black oversized blazer? Give the woman some color.”
“Give her something fitted. Give her something new! She wears the same outfit for funerals, holidays and work.”
What’s Next For Laura?
And then there was this comment as well: “She is a wonderful actress and I enjoy watching her, but I would love to see her wardrobe reflect Laura’s character…someone who has lived life a little on the wild side.”
Now, whether or not Laura does get the wardrobe change that she desperately needs, remains to be seen. With that said, there’s a very good chance that this might be Genie’s idea, too.
After all, the actress spends so much time in front of the cameras that perhaps she might be making the final decision when it comes to what she wants to wear and what she doesn’t want to wear when she’s in character.
However, Genie Francis herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet, although we will definitely update you with all of the latest details the moment they come in.

I also have the same feelings about BL’s wardrobe. She is never without a blazer or something covering her mid section. Could understand the move if either was pregnant and the pregnancy wanted to be hidden.
There are so many attractive clothing lives for women who are not pencil thin and do not cost a lot of money either. Maybe 2026 will bring wardrobe changes for both characters.
