2026 Starts With A Wedding
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) got engaged on Thanksgiving and now they are ready to get married on New Year’s Eve with their family and friends in attendance in Horton Town Square.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is on hand to officiate this wedding, but does Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) have something planned that could ruin it all?
She knows where Dimitri Von Leuchner (Peter Porte) is and could bring him back to Salem at any time to ruin Javi and Leo’s lives. Is that part of her plan or does Dimitri make it back into Leo’s life on his own? We all know this is coming because things can’t go this smoothly for one couple.
Another Marriage In The Works
A New Year’s Eve party at The Bistro brings even more romance when Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) tells Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) that he has another Christmas present for her that will top off the season.
Stephanie wasn’t expecting more, but we are expecting Alex to whip out an engagement ring since he has already spoken about marriage and children.
Stephanie has seemed a little hesitant to wed and become a mother. She has never acted like that before, but she has been of late. What could be going on with Stephanie? Does she like being a successful author that much and not want anything to get in the way of her new career?
Killing Peter?
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) sits vigil by Peter Blake’s (Dan Gauthier) side and seems to be the only DiMera who cares about what happens to him. He is her only biological sibling, and she remembers him as a child, not as the man he has become. A man who tried to kill them all in the crypt.
The doctors need the family to decide whether to remove Peter from life support. EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) wants to do it right away, but will Kristen agree?
