In a moment of vulnerability, Cat will collapse into Chad’s embrace, but there’s a chance she might receive some uplifting news soon after. Susan Elena Matus is set to begin her role as Catharina in episodes airing on December 11 and December 12.

Does this mean she survives the ordeal imposed by Clyde Weston (James Read), considering Cat tells Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) about their mom? It would certainly bring joy to Cat, Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), Aaron, and Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia) if they could reunite with Catharina.
