King is known for some Hallmark holiday flick gems like A Royal Corgi Christmas, The Santa Summit, and this year’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chief’s Love Story.

So, it was fun to see King partner up with Ulta Beauty and the Hallmark Channel to produce a fun ‘mini movie’ that she shared on her Instagram account. The short film takes shape in three parts and truly mirrors a Hallmark holiday movie, just a tad shorter.

The Young And The Restless Alum Hunter King’s Mini-Movie

The first part of the mini-movie is titled, “The Spark” and the flick starts with King who plays Joy, a woman who’s come back home for Christmas and doing a little shopping before her high school reunion.

Of course, as the sales associate is helping Joy her high school crush walks by, and the Ulta rep encourages her to go talk to him.

Part 2 is titled, “The Crush” as Joy musters up the courage, she stages a “run-in” with Matt by dropping a lip gloss, only for him to pick it up.

He immediately recognizes her and asks why she’s back in town. Joy reveals that it’s for the high school reunion, and she asks him what he’s doing in Ulta. Matt notes he’s just shopping for his mom and sister … no one else … Joy mentions that the lip gloss might be a good gift for either his mom or sister – since it’s her favorite.

The sales associate pops up and suggests the two of them attend the reunion together! They agree and head off together.

In the final part of the mini-movie, titled “The Gift”, Joy and Matt are shown walking down a festively decorated hometown street, as he thanks her for helping him with his shopping.

As they chat, he hands her a gift and it’s the lip gloss she dropped, as he remembered it was her favorite.

The two find themselves under the mistletoe, where Matt remarks that he feels as if he’s in a Hallmark movie, as Joy jokingly admits, “I get that all the time.”
