General Hospital Spoilers: Who Murdered Sam on Head Nurse Elizabeth’s Watch?
General Hospital spoilers gush Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) went into cardiac arrest as a result of an overdose of a drug called digitalis.
Commonly used to treat heart problems — of which Sam had none — it makes no sense to anyone that she ever would have been given this drug, much less an excess of it.
No doctor ordered this drug for Sam. That means someone with access to it — whether from the hospital or not — administered it anyway without a doctor’s orders.
Following formal policy, Co-Chiefs of Staff — Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) — will be required to follow up with a thorough investigation into Sam’s care from admission to death.
That means Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be under a microscope, being she is Head Nurse. So if Elizabeth had nothing to do with poisoning and killing Sam, who did?
General Hospital Spoilers — Cyrus May Have Been Lurking Around
It’s possible that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is still up to his old tricks. Why would he want to take Sam out though? That’s anyone’s guess. He may still be working to avenge justice for himself against his enemies — the biggest of them being Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Cyrus has been keeping up his appearance of a changed man for a long time now, but we know from Lulu Falconeri’s (Alexa Havins) awakening and Cyrus’ conversations with the doctor at Turning Woods that he’s not exactly the patron saint of brothers he paints himself as. Did he kill Sam?
GH Spoilers Claim Jason’s Enemies Were Sam’s Enemies, Too
Of course, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is one of Cyrus’ enemies, too, but he has many more. Some fans have theorized that even the late FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) could have set these wheels in motion and has someone working as his proxy since his death to see to it that everyone connected to Sonny pays dearly.
Jason could have many other enemies in the federal agency orbit, including WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure). Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has warned that Jack is not as he seems. Maybe she’s right.
General Hospital Spoilers — Brad Has Lost the Plot
Might Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) have resorted to completely disastrous tactics and killed Dr. Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) sister as a means to an end? Perhaps he thought that if he could cause a spiral of grief for Lucas, he would be able to coax him into leaning on him for support.
Moreover, maybe he plans to set the stage for Lucas to believe the autopsy report did reveal that he made an error — and that Brad altered the report to cover for him. Nothing is too much of a stretch when it comes to Brad! Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to see how this plays out.
