Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) is behind bars for scamming Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about being Abigail DiMera.
Cat’s fate isn’t known yet, but she’s not a temporary character. So, if Cat is going to stay in Salem, she will likely need to have a redemption story.
The only thing that could allow anyone to forgive impersonating someone’s dead wife is to find that woman alive and bring her back home. So, let’s get started discussing this theory!
Chad DiMera’s Horror
DOOL spoilers reveal that Cat and Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) participated in Clyde Weston’s (James Read) latest scheme. Cat and Mark are trying to save their captive mother,
Catharina Meleounis (Ellie Patrikrios). Clyde agreed to release Catharina in exchange for Cat deceiving Chad and getting the millions to the villain.
However, Cat was unaware that Clyde demanded Mark kill Chad. Cat couldn’t stop Mark waving that gun, but Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) did! Now Mark and Cat are both behind bars.
DOOL Spoilers: Cat Greene’s Explanation
Chad recently updated Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about what happened in Paris. Then, Chad angrily confronted Cat behind bars.
Chad wanted to know where Abigail’s body was. Cat was confused at first, but then told Chad that she honestly had no idea. Chad’s not certain whether he believes Cat or not. One thing is clear, though… if there is no body in the grave, then where is Abigail?
Clyde Weston’s Escape
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Steve recently met up with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Steve let Marlena know about Cat’s claim. If Catharina is really alive, then that means John Black (Drake Hogestyn) didn’t kill her!
Later, Steve got a phone call about Clyde. It turns out that Clyde has escaped. So, this will make Cat and Mark even more terrified for their mother.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Finding Abigail DiMera Alive?
Clyde will eventually be caught and taken back to prison. However, Chad is right to question where Abigail’s body is. Cat might not be the real Abigail, but the body has to be somewhere.
The only way I see Cat earning redemption is by finding Abigail alive and bringing her home. First, Cat needs to find a way out of jail, though!
Once Abigail is brought back alive, that could put Chad in another complicated situation. Cat has feelings for Chad, and it seems he has them for her too. Chad might be in denial right now, but if Cat brings back Abigail, that could create quite an interesting love triangle!
