The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is not thinking about killing Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). She believes she killed Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), but Daniel’s fate centers on a laborious pain process.
Working through the projection of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby), Sharon intends to set Daniel up as Heather’s murderer. Teasers showing her planting bloody evidence in the apartment where he, Heather, and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) recently lived together as a family were shocking.
Instead of another murderous tale, where the killing of Daniel and possibly Lucy was in the offing, Sharon is taking her plot in a different, lesser direction.

What payback would it be to frame Daniel for Heather’s murder? That form of demented vengeance would create a deeper satisfaction for Sharon.
As viewers learned, she’s harbored resentment all these soapy years. Never having gotten over or beyond Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) tragic death, Sharon wants Daniel to pay a legal price.
She intends to have him spend the rest of his life behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit. Her plan is so twisted that she does not even care that Lucy’s life would be destroyed, a feeling that apparently took hold after O’Briant’s character caused Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) to get into a car accident while they were together.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor On The Case
Like various others, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was alienated by Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). But viewers sensed the latest exit from Abbott Chancellor was related to another storyline.
Shortly after Chance’s falling out with Billy, Floyd’s character told Summer that he asked the Genoa City Police Department’s chief to reinstate him. But Chance is already working with his contacts before that officially happens, relaying information to Daniel about the autopsy.
In the coming scenes, Chance’s presence increases. Assuming he rejoins the GCPD, it feels likely that he’ll be assigned to the case. That would be unrealistic in the real world, but in daytime, it’s right.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Did Sharon Newman Kill Heather Stevens?
It still seems hard to imagine that Sharon actually killed Heather and then dumped her body in the river. If that is true, Case’s character must be revealed and face massive punishment.
But another alternative exists. Sharon was the victim of a frame, just as she is trying to set up Daniel.
Various mystery characters, including past enemies, could have killed Heather. One that links to her, Daniel, and or Sharon would create a plausible climax reveal.
How can one of this soap’s longest-tenured actors be guilty of murder, among other crimes?
Something else must be unfolding unless Case is working her cast exit storyline.
