General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lulu Spencer is about to wake up after a very long coma to discover that life has changed exponentially in Port Charles, New York. Fans will also be hit with a major change as the storyline unfolds.
The role, last played by Emme Rylan, has been recast with All My Children alum Alexa Havins. For the past few weeks fans have seen characters talk to Lulu as she lies in her hospital bed.
She needs a transplant to survive and all signs point to her receiving one courtesy of her brother Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). Half of Port Charles is looking for him and you can bet he will make a triumphant return to save his sister. The only question remaining is, when will we actually see Alexa’s debut?
General Hospital spoilers: Alexa Havens is Lulu Spencer
Poor Lulu has been in a coma since 2020. She got injured in an explosion at the Floating Rib and has been unconscious ever since. Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) were relationship goals but were not together at the time she skipped into a coma.
Sadly, Lulu was about to reveal her undying love for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when she was rendered unconscious.
The star-crossed lovers went through some very soapy trials and tribulations during their time together. In their latest twist, Dante came home to PC with severe PTSD.

Lante fans have never stop hoping that the supercouple were given another chance to reconnect especially given the fact that his current SO, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), is leaving the show. It looks like the fans’ long held wish will come true, albeit with some complications …
Lulu has been “gone” for a long time and it’s foolish to think that she will suddenly wake up and pick up where she left off.

Dante has got to be cautiously optimistic that Lulu will have her transplant and return to be a mother to her children. But he’s also aware that there is still some animosity for how he handled his relationship with Lulu.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) gave Dante a tongue lashing recently, reminding him that he broke her heart back when he took off in 2018.

Don’t be surprised if Lulu wakes up with some degree of amnesia. It’s rare that a soap character blinks their eyes open and returns fully restored after a long term coma. She likely will need rehabilitation and counseling to help her adjust.
It’s been a long time since Lulu and Dante married in 2011 and it’s hard to predict where her mind will pick up in terms of their relationship.
GH Spoilers: Will Lulu Forget Everything?
Lulu’s awakening will probably dovetail with Sam’s departure, which is a whole other explosive plot point. Sam will be killed off the show and Monaco has hinted at spilling the tea on the late Billy Miller’s (Drew Cain) exit.
All of this points to Dante being flummoxed soon, as he will be the sole caregiver of his son, he will have lost his partner, and his ex-wife reenters his life. What could go wrong?
