Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has offered Kyle a position as co-runner of Glissade alongside Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), but it’s evident that there’s a lack of trust in this arrangement.
Viewers are aware that Kyle is simply a pawn in Victor’s game to seek revenge on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), wanting it to really hurt Jack.
Victor has made it clear that he has the power to manipulate Kyle and turn him against his own father and figures manipulating his son’s the way to do it.
If Kyle doesn’t toe the line and absolutely perfectly, Victor won’t hesitate to kick him to the curb, since he’s just using him as a means to an end anyway! After all, Victor will still have Audra if he decides to get rid of Kyle in the end.

Victor made it clear to Kyle that he didn’t want any competition with Audra, which is probably why he was so insistent on her staying on board.
We’ve seen Kyle’s behavior before when he feels threatened in a company role, like when he sabotaged Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) at Jabot, his own mother!
It wouldn’t be surprising if he tried to do the same to Audra since there’s bad blood between them and ended up in hot water with Victor.
And with the custody drama brewing with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), Kyle’s threats about consequences if she doesn’t back off could lead to a much more serious offense. For instance, like trying to take away her rights to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

Can Kyle truly believe he can pull this off without setting off Victor’s anger? It looks like a situation where Victor could retaliate immediately on Summer’s behalf and push Kyle out of his new Glissade position.
Despite all of Kyle’s bragging and talk of taking down Jabot, he might not even get the chance to go head-to-head with them!
If Kyle loses this Glissade opportunity over the Harrison custody battle, he could find himself in a tough spot with plenty of remorse.
