General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Scott Begs For Liesl’s Forgiveness, But Is That Enough?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) have a complicated relationship built on their shared pasts and mistakes. However, their connection was shattered when Scott defended Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), leading to the unfortunate death of Liesl’s daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Liesl was kidnapped, and forced to aid in a world takeover, and along the way she realized how precious life truly is. Faced with meeting her maker, Liesl may have a change of heart toward Scott, but it hasn’t happened yet. He’s said all the right things; is it all too little too late?
General Hospital Spoilers — Forgiveness Isn’t in Liesl Obrecht’s Vocabulary
In short, Liesl never forgives anyone. She doesn’t move forward. She doesn’t pass Go or collect $200. She ruminates. She dwells on past pain. She never forgets or gets over anything. Charming, right? We can totally see what Scott sees in her! Never mind that she knows how to tempt the guy and so far, he’s convinced that his old tricks aren’t going to win her over this time. Liesl isn’t actually pissed; she’s heartbroken. She’s unhealed, shattered, and can’t believe the one person who was supposed to be in her corner — wasn’t. How can he undo that?
General Hospital Updates – Liesl Obrecht Was Blindsided
When Liesl found a man who loved her just as she is, it was a life-changing experience for her. Scott is the only man who has ever loved her so sincerely and without any hidden agendas or ulterior motives. That is something that Liesl values more than anything else in the world — or at least, it was. If someone had told Liesl that Scott was going to sell her out and prioritize Elizabeth’s needs over her own, she would have laughed in their face. He showed her, didn’t he? That’s part of the problem. Liesl’s ego is…shall we say, enormous? She can’t get over how he duped her. She finally let her guard down with a man and this is where it got her. It’s not going to be easy for her to step back into that vulnerable space of trusting him again.
Scott Baldwin Tries Again
Once upon a time, Liesl found herself standing in a nail salon as Scott got down on one knee and proposed marriage. It wasn’t exactly Shakespeare, but it was very Scott Baldwin, and that’s what Liesl loves about him. Although she said no to the schwein, it was because the timing just wasn’t right and he was doing it for all the wrong reasons. This time around, she might think he’s just trying to win her back, but he’s actually trying to make sure he never loses her again. Will it work? Rumor has it…you’ll have to stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
[…] While Molly is finding ways to distract herself from their problems, T.J. is left to sort through his own emotions. How is he supposed to hang on and wait for Molly to come around to the idea of exploring their options when it seems like she’s never going to? The further that she pulls away from him, the more T.J. is going to feel like his efforts to support her and wait for her are fruitless and a waste of his time. Ideally, he could just bury himself in work, too, but support is going to fall into his lap in a way he never expected, and he won’t see it coming before it turns into something he never intended. […]
