All My Children Fan Fave Joins Beyond The Gates Cast

Beyond The Gates has been putting together an impressive daytime TV cast since it debuted in 2025 on CBS.  According to the soap rumor mill, BTG just added another daytime fan fave to the cast. 

A popular All My Children alum was spotted at the soap’s set in Atlanta and created a frenzy on social media about his possible casting.  Keep reading for all the details!

All My Children Star Joins BTG Cast

Has All My Children fan fave Colin Egglesfield joined the cast of Beyond The Gates?  Egglesfield is well know for his role on the now canceled soap opera.

The actor played the part of Josh Madden on the daytime soap from 2005-2009.  AMC fans will recall that Josh was the long lost son of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci).

The storyline was actually a huge deal and helped concrete Colin Egglesfield acting career. Pine Valley queen Erica Kane thought she aborted her son when she was pregnant, the abortion storyline was rather scandalous when it aired on All My Children.

Egglesfield took to social media and shared a mysterious post of himself lying on a couch on what appears to be a television set.

Eagle-eyed soap opera fans noticed that it’s the same couch on the set of Beyond The Gates.  As soon as rumors began circulating on the web that the actor had joined the BTG cast, he quickly deleted the post (which made it seem even more obvious).

So far nobody from Beyond The Gates has actually confirmed the big casting news.  But, all signs are pointing to the All My Children alum joining the CBS soap opera’s star-studded cast.  As soon as more details are available about his new role, we will be sure to pass them along.
