The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Claire Made The Right Choice – Nikki Must Accept Victor’s Love

The Young and The Restless: Claire Newman (Hayley Erin)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) couldn’t withhold the truth from either of her grandparents. Love is like that, and it should soon prove to create a reconciliation.

Stubbornness is preventing Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) from sharing her health problem with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). At least that’s the way he sees it.

A setup for another letdown. That’s what Nikki thinks is inevitable. She knows that Victor cares about her but as she told him, he wants information so he can control what happens.

Claire Newman Broke The News

Going to the main house at the Ranch was the right thing to do. Claire felt that family pressure needed to be released. So, she did what her mother was unwilling to make happen.

Telling Victor that Nikki has a mass that’s pressing on her optic nerve changes the dynamic. The Moustache now knows why his estranged wife has been experiencing debilitating headaches.

Having that information means that Victor will go to Nikki. However, she could rebuke him. Yet, devoted viewers realize that he won’t turn away.

Victor Newman Has To Get Involved

Learning that Nikki could go blind if she has surgery to remove the mass is a call to action.

Newman Enterprises back in Victor’s hands and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) contained and doing his bidding means that a full focus on Nikki can happen.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) needed to take her mother to the hospital because Nikki felt intense pain and hallowed vision at the Chancellor Park Cafe.

It’s natural for Claire to serve as the conduit because she’ll need to explain herself to Nikki and apologize to Victoria for breaking a confidence.

Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) conveniently just accepted a top slot at Genoa City Memorial Hospital.

Soap fans anticipated that happened because some form of crisis was coming.

Nikki Newman Opts For Radiation Or Radical Surgery?

She can’t continue to push off a decision. The diagnosis just happened, so Nikki won’t have time to process her precarious position, as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) advised her to do.

Nikki could choose to have radiation in hopes of shrinking or even eliminating the mass.

That would take time, include a hard physical beating, and likely include the temporary loss of her golden locks.

Surgery is a serious matter in this instance, with blindness as a possibility due to the sensitive area where the mass resides.

So, as Victoria was telling her mother moments before the latest pain attack happened, Nikki needs everyone’s support, including Victor’s.

Radiation could be a first option, but it feels like surgery is coming and might take place out of necessity.

Nikki can’t endure increased moments of pain that come like lightning strikes to her brain. Thomas Scott is a great actor, so the audience knows that solid drama is ahead, regardless of whatever course Nikki takes.
