The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is dealing with what he saw as an unjustified termination.
But he immediately finds himself in the same awkward position as his mother, in that Will can’t talk about his new work life.
Will is out at Forrester Creations, but in at the company his parents recently launched, Logan.
He won’t be forced to live in his car like Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) or eat pizza out of a trash can behind Il Giardino as she did either.
One of the reasons why RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) dislikes Will is that they share similar backstories.
However, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) grew up in a monied environment, and she’s not arrogant like those two.
One of the elements of the character Grace plays involves Electra’s likability. That’s what made her knock Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) down in the Spencer living room last year, natural.
Electra is a sweetheart, which is why Will is in love with her and RJ wishes she were in love with him.
But she’s not a pushover, and when pushed too far, she will defend herself, Will, and those she cares for.
Viewers saw how Electra responded after learning that her aunt, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer), had manipulated matters.
Electra told Ivy she was wrong and stood her ground once Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) revealed the truth.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) wants Logan to be a fashion force, not a niche brand that was a one-hit wonder because of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) controversial line. So, to make that happen, she’s poaching another FC employee.
Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) slots into a negotiated category because she’s not a Forrester. The handshake agreement Katie and Brooke made was intentionally duplicitous, with viewers also knowingly suspending disbelief.
Brooke is older and wiser than Katie. She’s achieved her fame and social stature by being sharp.
Normally, Brooke would have immediately mentioned Hope as off-limits when she and Katie agreed not to poach from one another. But that didn’t happen, so a delayed reaction conflict could be woven into the script.
It wasn’t okay for Brooke to slap Katie’s face hard. She intended physical harm and achieved it, and wasn’t reacting in self-defense. So, Ridge was just plain wrong to tell his wife that she was right to slap Katie.
Viewers likely raised their eyebrows while simultaneously frowning. It was an unusual moment in the plot, but also one that reinforced Ridge’s belief that Brooke can do no wrong.
Thankfully, Brooke recognized her actions as wrong and apologized to Katie. However, viewers and Tom’s character are preparing for Brooke’s reaction when she learns that Hope has signed on with Logan.
