General Hospital Recasts Scout Cain – Kayden Brenna Tokarski Enters Role
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Scout Cain will be looking a little different when she’s seen in Port Charles next.
That’s because the ABC soap has officially recast the character, with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) reporting that Kayden Brenna Tokarski will enter the role. All the details on this shocking casting new is below.
Recast & SORASed
General Hospital spoilers note that Scout is not only being recast, but also SORASed, as the daughter of the late Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will now be a teenager.
Fans should expect to see the nuScout debut sometime in July. It looks like Drew, and possibly Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), will have their hands full as Scout will now be a full-fledged teenager.
If her brother Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is any indication, there might be trouble ahead as the girl rebels, considering the wringer she’s been through in recent years.
Tokarski takes over from young actress Cosette Abinante, who played sweet Scout since 2022.
On June 1, General Hospital dropped a video on their Instagram account with cast and crew celebrating the soap’s 16,000th episode, and many spotted Tokarski in the mix. Now fans know the name behind the face!
Kayden Brenna Tokarski Resume
Tokarski may be a newbie to the world of daytime drama; however, she’s got quite the acting resume. Now 16, she began her career when she was 10.
The actress played in the movie Gaslit in 2022, as a younger version of Julia Roberts’ character, Martha. In addition, she was in Lifetime’s My Professor’s Deadly Secret, as well as Killer in the Woods.
She recently finished up Quads & the Kicker and will appear in the soon-to-be-released Curse of Vandor and its sequel.
Tokarski has also been in commercial campaigns that include Red Lobster, opposite NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, and was the voice of Wednesday Addams in a national Wendy’s commercial.
