General Hospital Fans Find This Detail About Britt And Rocco ‘Disturbing’

General Hospital fans are not buying this at all. In fact, it seems like a lot of viewers out there are finding this detail about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibaud) and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) quite disturbing and there seems to be a good reason for it, too. Keep reading below for all the details you need to know!
General Hospital Fans Find This Detail About Britt And Rocco ‘Disturbing’
As many viewers already know, Britt is holding on to Rocco and as much as she would probably want someone to sympathize with her situation right now, it’s probably not going to happen.
Because let’s face it: Britt is not Rocco’s birth mother, nor is she even his adopted mother and she never raised him, either.
That’s why a lot of viewers can’t help but feel unsettled that there’s a middle aged woman here who is acting like she’s just going on vacation with a young boy when she should have no business doing this whatsoever.
It’s definitely not maternal and it’s not giving off cool aunt vibes, either. Sure, Rocco has the ability to leave Britt, he’s not chained to the bedstead and he has now communicated with relatives, but something still just feels off here.
Of course, many GH fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have even commented with, “No, Britt is not Rocco’s mother. But she feels that she is.

She carried him in her body, gave birth to him, and cared for him for months before giving him up.”
What’s Next For Britt And Rocco?
“That’s a normal human reaction, especially likely in any sensitive young person who has already experienced a lot of love in their life — that makes them more open to receiving and giving love to others.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “What’s missing from this story, in my opinion, is any fun.
It would have been so much richer and a better story, with good acting opportunities for both of them, if we could have seen the two of them having a bit of fun in the middle of the crazy stress, before Britt got sick.”
