Clearly, we are talking about Nick Nemwan as it seems like fans are growing tired of him for this one reason.

Nick used to be someone who was polished as well as both cool and contained but it seems like those days are over.

Instead, he’s now someone who has absolutely no control over his life and it seems like things are just getting worse by the day. And for many viewers, they are just over it. They want to see the old Nick Newman come back to life already.

Clearly, many Y&R fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “I am tired of this once good character reduced to a sweaty, angry guy who just wants to put a body in the trunk of his car.”

“This is all to get Josh Morrow his Daytime Emmy. His last nomination was over 25 years ago, which is kind of egregious.”

Another critic wrote, “I really like Josh Morrow. But seriously, I think he’s doing the best he can with this crappy writing. The frequent grimacing, moodiness and sweating might seem over the top but it goes with the story and I hope it ends soon.”

What’s Next For Nick Newman?

And then there was this comment as well: “This may be the meatiest story Joshua has done in years (though in an earlier interview with Michael Fairman he sounded like he didn’t want his character to have this storyline!).”

“But he’s a mediocre actor and the writing isn’t helping. I think Nick’s confession scene with Victor has been his best so far and if he submits it I think he may get an Emmy Nom.”
