The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Pushes Hope to the Edge & Katie Demands Respect
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has gone down this road before. Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) believes this second trip isn’t about business.
Steffy again laid into Hope about her aunt. It would be difficult for Noelle’s character to prove a workplace complaint if she filed one with an attorney. Yet, if devoted viewers were sitting on a jury, assuming this matter got to court, they might be inclined to vote in Hope’s favor.
Hope for the Future isn’t being cut from Forrester Creations or defunded. Instead, Steffy said that Couture needs focus. That felt like deception to Hope, with a shift to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) next collection being Steffy’s stated goal.
Is Steffy Forrester Finnegan Right?
Arguably, yes. What would be best for FC is for Eric to deliver his next collection as soon as possible so that the company he co-founded could punch back at Logan.
Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) are making a sound business decision, and one that will help their family. Eric made a mistake in volunteering to mentor Katie and then contractually sell Logan his latest designs.
There’s no going back now because the fashion house Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) heads, and that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) envisioned and funded, is a hit. So, Steffy and Ridge are wisely looking ahead, and that means helping to shift the company’s and Eric’s attention to what’s ahead, rather than fretting about what Logan accomplished.
Is Hope Logan Spencer Wrong?
Arguably, no. Steffy’s repeated chiding of Hope has nothing to do with business. It’s also hard to imagine that FC can’t refocus on Couture and allow Hope for the Future to launch.
It would seem to be bad business to invest money and effort into Hope’s revived line and then to let it indefinitely linger, especially considering the fickle nature of the fashion business. One would wonder if Hope will be able to produce the line if it’s given the go-ahead past the season of the year when it was intended.
Steffy is using Hope as a target because she’s mad at Katie and Bill. But Hope is Brooke’s daughter and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) spouse, putting her in the impossible middle.
Katie Logan Spencer’s Desire Is Just
Katie hit the nail on its soapy head when telling Brooke that she was being sarcastic. Lang’s character only went to Logan to put Katie down during her moment of triumph because she wanted to make her feel bad.
What drives Brooke at this point in her life is jealousy. As Katie said, Brooke is a legend in the fashion industry, and she’s also yesterday. Use of the last word in the previous sentence was a mistake made in the heat of battle.
Brooke will most likely use that retort as fuel to make herself and, therefore, FC relevant right now. Ridge, Steffy, and Eric are powerful allies in this continuing battle, with Katie, Bill, Liam, and soon, Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) hoping to sustain momentum.
Maybe Hope will join her husband and the others at Logan, which would elevate an already captivating and evolving storyline.
