The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Electra Grows Suspicious of Ivy – RJ Becomes More Important

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) still loves Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). But RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) has emerged as a strong alternative.

Electra got her first glimpse at what her aunt has been doing recently. Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) couldn’t help herself when she intentionally uploaded a photo of Electra and RJ after they’d taken a dip in the Forrester mansion’s pool.

That shot of them sampling some of Pam Douglas’ (Alley Mills) famous lemon bars was intended for Will’s eyes. Sure enough, he felt compelled to respond to the alert his smartphone provided.

Will Spencer Partially Responsible For His Current Problem

Will was being compassionate after he realized Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was living in her car. That happened while she was still friends with Electra.

Grace’s character forged a bond with Melissa last summer. That happened off-screen and without the viewer’s knowledge, with that part of their backstories re-imagined, furthering the current plot.

It’s not that Will fell in love with Melissa. He found her attractive and slowly became fond of her. That, along with Ivy’s manipulative capitalization, led to the emotional fallout with Electra.

RJ Forrester Holds Most Of The Cards

RJ isn’t Electra’s first love. So, Will holds that high card and may be able to play off its significance in the future.

Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is championing her son’s interest in his same-named but not biologically related family member. Viewers took note that Lang’s dialogue once again reminded them that RJ is not Electra’s blood relative because his actual grandfather isn’t Eric Forrester (John McCook) but the late Massimo Marone IV (Joseph Mascolo).

The re-introduction of the RJ character included the recast from Joshua Hoffman, whose photo remains oddly listed on B&B’s online cast page, to Nicoletti. Fans knew that development was setting the soapy stage for drama, which has arrived.

Electra Forrester’s Choices Expand Dramatically

Electra is a sweet person. Her talent is demonstrated through the jewelry she helps her aunt design.

It’s not surprising that many young men would want to get close to Electra. Remy Price (Christian Weissman) didn’t know how to express his admiration, with Electra seeing him only as a friend.

Will represented a form of puppy love that quickly became a serious relationship. RJ is on pace to become the man who becomes the most significant relationship in Electra’s young life.

The four young actors involved in these combined storylines have been solid additions to the cast. They help extend the generational aspect of the show and are working in scenarios that are as relatable as can be expected in daytime.

The progression of Electra’s choices has been progressing. Here’s hoping that she and RJ have time and plot space to make this pairing work.
