General Hospital Spoilers: Is Emma Being Underused As A Character?

General Hospital spoilers say that a lot of fans can’t help but wonder this same thing about Emma Drake (Braeden Bruner).

Are the writers not giving this character enough screen time? Or in other words, is she not being used to her fullest potential? Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Is Emma Being Underused As A Character?

While there’s no doubt that everyone is loving her relationship with Gio, many fans have pointed out that there doesn’t seem to be a clear direction for her character.

This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if Emma will ever be given a storyline of her own and if the writers of the hit ABC soap will give this character the depth that she deserves, if you know what we mean.

It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “I love her. She really made the character her own. I know the story was stalled by Finola’s absence, but the writers have had enough time to give her something to do in the meantime.

I would love to see more of her life as a student, dates with Gio, or spending time with Maxie and her family.”

Another fan of the show wrote, “I’d like to see Emma pursue her dream of Vet School and Gio become a paramedic at GH. Show them starting a life together.”

What’s Next For Emma?

“Emma’s family should be rallying around her. Felicia, Mac and Maxie have spent hardly any time with Emma. It would be nice for her to bond with James, Georgie and Bailey Lou also.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Emma probably has enough knowledge to be able to at least assist in reverse engineering Britt’s meds if they were able to secure them again.

They’ve made reference to all her chemistry courses and being a chemistry genius so it’d be an interesting way to pull her into this story a little more.”
