You may have heard–David Duchovny’s co-written and stars in a comedy called Soapbox. The film is about an aging soap star (no such thing!) and features Vincent Irizarry (Deimos Kiriakis, Days of Our Lives) and Christopher Sean (Paul Narita, DOOL).

Well, now Wright has revealed her own role in the flick: “Someone else may have a cameo in this movie as well.”

Yep, Wright is part of the project which recalls her participation in David O. Russell’s 2015 movie Joy. Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Susan Lucci (Erica Kane, All My Children) and Donna Mills (Madeline Reeves, GH) were also in Joy.

Wright’s Soapbox appearance is being kept under wraps. The film is in production in March, and we’ll let you know when there is a release date.

In the meantime, her Port Charles alter ego, Carly, is giving fans plenty to talk about!
This week Carly hit a new low by sleeping with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) minutes after she almost hit the sheets with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Carly looked for all the world like she was enjoying her tryst as it happened, then had the nerve to tell Valenti that it was just for show.

Carly Sleeps With Jack

Carly excused herself by saying she slept with Jack for Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) sake. Or rather, that she wants info about Jason and Jack is the only one who can give it to her.

She didn’t tell Valentin, but she saw his face when she was on top of Jack. Not sure if that would make Val feel better or worse.

Red hot General Hospital spoilers hint that Carly and Valentin’s secret is far from over and for now he’s perfectly fine hiding out like a scoundrel in her attic.
