General Hospital Spoilers: With Jason Gone, Who Will Save Britt’s Life?

General Hospital: Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)

General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) hasn’t just been banking on some much-needed time away with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to forget her troubles — you know, as much as you can while hiding out underground from international spies who want to kill you.

She’s also been desperate to get out from under WSB Agent Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) thumb. That means she needed another way to stem the progress Huntington’s Disease would otherwise make on ravaging her mind and body.

Jason’s plan to steal away with the drugs and reverse engineer them was going beautifully until Pascal (Marc Forget) checked the safe.

Now, all bets are off as to how Cullum might deal with this breach of trust, and he could find himself at odds with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) once it becomes aware that his son was the swiper of the safe, not Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).

Not One, But Two

I think this key point might be pivotal in this story, so pay attention. When Pascal went looking for Britt’s meds, he called Cullum right away. He said it was his recollection that Cullum had returned with six doses, and yet only four were present in the safe.

Some fans are arguing that the first dose was used the day prior after Cullum came back with them. Others are arguing this is going to be a plot twist where Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) didn’t steal away with one dose, but two.

That could mean he diversified the plan, knowing Cullum may go after Jason if they were caught to prevent this reverse engineering process from going down. The solution? Have a back-up plan with another dose?

GH Spoilers Say Rough Waters Ahead for Stone Cold

Years ago, Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) nicknamed Jason ‘Stone Cold’ due to his stoic and emotionless demeanor that allowed him to perform his work and carry his relationships in a manner Spinelli just couldn’t fathom.

It stuck — enough for them to even have a podcast and traveling show dubbed with it. But Stone Cold could crumble under the pressure of where his life is headed.

A leaker has come forward and reported just this week that Jason will not only be kidnapped but tortured in unfathomable ways that leave him distraught with PTSD by the time he finally returns this summer.

Britt Bounces Back?

I see one of two things happening here for Britt, but it’s notable that it is sounding like, according to the same leaker, that Britt and Jason won’t be a couple anymore. We don’t know whether she will grieve over his absence, believe he’s dead, or be furious with him.

The leaker says when he comes home, they won’t be together. That could be a situation similar to when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was suffering with PTSD and he pushed Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) away because he thought he might harm her otherwise.

Regardless, the matter of Britt’s disease still exists. I think she could manage to still get the reverse engineered med from Jason’s contact — which might signal that Jason leaves without her on purpose, perhaps because he knows how much danger he is in.

He could make it to stop the meds off and disappear, securing her safety in two ways. But, I also think someone like Lucas could come through for her.

The other option — I think Britt could be forced to go without the drugs after completing the cold fusion prototype, and she may find out she never had Huntington’s to begin with but was drugged to think so! What do you think?

We know there is no cure for Huntington’s so I thought Marco gave one vial to Lucas when he went to his office . Lucas will somehow get vial to Brit and Generate a formula. Here she will see that drug was not capable of working on her disease and then question validity of her diagnosiS. With Jason gone, A new character will enter possibly another dr. will come to work at General And new friendship will develop. He will discover Brit is not ill and through this help a new romance will develop.
