Steve Burton Sends A Message To His Fans
The actor, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan on the hit ABC soap, recently shared a very special message with his fans. But no, it’s not what you are probably thinking. It has nothing to do with Port Charles.
Instead, it’s a message about his fans and what Steve wants for them!
Steve took to his Instagram account to say, “Are you truly content in life, or are you content because you don’t believe more is possible?”
“That was gonna be the basis of the post. And then, you know, I’m kind of a word guy, and I look at definitions. You know, when I coach, I’m always like: Let’s be careful of words because words have so much power, right?”
He then continued, “So I look up contentment, and it says the definition is a state of happiness or satisfaction.”
When Is Steve Burton Coming Back To Port Charles?
“So with that line of thought, happiness equals contentment, but I’m not sure I really believe that.”
“I always feel that happiness is, is fleeting. You’re not happy all the time. It’s a feeling that you get, but I wouldn’t say it’s the same as contentment.”
Meanwhile, and as many of our readers know, earlier this month Steve shared a statement that said he’s going to be taking some time off from the soap to focus on his family.
And while everyone certainly does deserve to take a break from time to time, a lot of fans and critics alike can’t help but read between the lines of what Steve might actually be saying.
At the time, Steve took to his Instagram account to write, “Hey everyone, I wanted to share that I’ll be taking a short break from General Hospital. I’m newly married and looking forward to spending some quality time with my family. I’m grateful for all the support and will be back this summer.”
