The Young And The Restless’ Christel Khalil Prepping For Return – Shares Photo Of Baby #3

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Lily Winters might be off canvas, but she’s currently prepping for a major return. The character’s portrayer, Christel Khalil, recently hopped on social media to let fans know she was gearing up for her comeback, while also sharing a photo of the newest addition to her family.

Khalil uploaded a photo to her Instagram Story of what appeared to be a gym set up in her garage.

Her newborn, third child, was shown on her chest, nicely secured by a green baby carrier, as the actress lifted some mighty big weights! The caption on the IG Story picture read, “Getting ready for Lily’s return!”

Lily left the land of Genoa City this past January to visit her daughter, Mattie Ashby (last played Lexie Stevenson), as she wanted a break from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and his drama.

This was a way to set up Khalil’s maternity leave, which likely began in late 2025, as the CBS daytime drama shoots several weeks ahead of broadcast.

With that said, while some fans had speculated that Khalil was expecting earlier in 2025, this was not officially confirmed until later on in her pregnancy.

The Young and the Restless uploaded a video on their Instagram handle of the cast dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, and when spots of Khalil were shown, it was clear that baby #3 was on its way!

Christel Khalil’s Growing Family

This is Khalil’s third child, but second with her partner, Canadian businessman Sam Restagno. The couple initially were introduced in 2016.

 . Khalil and Restagno got engaged in 2022 and said, “I do” in 2024. Their first child, a boy, was born in 2023. In addition, the actress has a teenage son from her previous marriage to musician Stephen Hensley.
