Is Jason Morgan Not Capable Of Showing True Love?

A lot of fans have pointed out that Jason keeps on giving the same explanation as to why he had to protect Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) because she put her life on the line for him. That’s why he thinks it’s only right for him to do the same.

However, it’s been pointed out that he could have told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he has feelings for her and that he might also be in love with her. That, and Britt is clearly important to him. But for some reason the writers just refuse to give him those lines to say!

It goes without saying that General Hospital fans certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “No, his character has been dull and one note for decades. They think him being brooding, cold and nonchalant is cool but it’s not.”

What’s Next For Jason Morgan?

Another critic of the show wrote, “ One would’ve hoped that Sam dying and him having to step up as the sole guardian for one of his kids would’ve actually changed Jason on some level, but nope.”

“They only know how to write him as a boring errand boy for Sonny who shoots people. Jake was completely right when he called him out when he got back. The only thing he’s good for is being a bank.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I wish Jason needs to be in love! Tired of him being so one dimensional. Also, why would he be so loyal to Carly and Sonny and put them above his own interests his entire life.”

Now, whether or not that anything will change in Jason in the coming weeks and months ahead remains to be seen, but right now there’s no indication that states it will happen anytime soon.

Sure, he might have gotten a reputation for being Stone Cold Jason Morgan for a good reason, but that doesn’t mean he can’t show a little warmth and love, right? Someone made it happen already!
