General Hospital spoilers report several unexpected relationships are taking shape lately on GH that are leaving fans surprised, and sometimes delighted.
While certain couples have been slow burning for a while, a few of them have thrown us for a loop and have us questioning what the romantic holiday ahead will bring.
There is little chance that they all take flight and turn into something longlasting, which means more than a few of them are destined to crash and burn.
But we can certainly revel in the chemistry these would-be couples are sharing right now. Any guesses on the most and least surprising?
The Least Surprising But Most Welcome
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) have been keeping their new romance on the back burner ever since Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was found not guilty of shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), leaving Michael as the primary suspect.
Being sidelined in light of a new load of stress on Michael’s plate has left Jacinda wondering how genuine his feelings for her really are, but this Valentine’s Day, he’s poised to make sure she knows where he stands.
You won’t want to miss this. In case it needs to be said, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) are totally on their way back to coupledom.
Lulu and Nathan are Riding the Fence as Maxie Wakes Up
The most alarming couple to take shape recently is definitely Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey).
With questions arising about whether Nathan is even Nathan, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) slated to come back into the picture just before Valentine’s Day, it’s anyone’s guess who Nathan’s valentine will be.
We can’t forget about Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). He’s been sitting on the sidelines praying for — but also dreading — this day to come.
Will Lulu be excited to welcome her bestie back, or bitter that she might have to kiss Nathan goodbye?
The Three Most Surprising Hook-ups on the Horizon?
Just last week, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) decided he was going to reignite his interest in Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and his invitation to dinner was a bit off-putting to her, given that he has been so absent from her life since he disappeared for thirty days in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) basement.
But something tells me Elizabeth may end up giving this guy another shot when we least expect it. Someone else who might make headway in the romance department this Valentine’s is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
He’s been working on Justine Turner (Nazneen Contrator); the only problem is — she knows it.
