Kate Roberts Brady’s Devious Games
Let’s start off with Kate, who has always been a mixed bag. The woman loves her family fiercely and is usually in command in the boardroom.
However, she also has a tendency to scheme and play devious games in order to get what she wants.
The woman did it with Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) as well as Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). While being with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) keeps Kate from getting too bad, she’s a manipulator at heart.
Marlena Evans’ Future
Fans know that Marlena was asked about coming back to the hospital as a psychiatrist. The woman needs to think about it. However, it’s not just because of her grief or even her family issues. It’s because Marlena got another offer, one that sounds interesting.
Marlena told Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that she was considering it. The two talked about the pros and cons. For now, it seems like Marlena is going to act as a consultant in order to keep Basic Black alive.
Consultant or Co-conspirator?
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the job sounds easy enough. Marlena won’t be in charge of any divisions or anything like that. Apparently, Marlena will only act as a consultant.
However, it’s something different than what Marlena has been doing the past few decades. So, I can certainly understand her interest in doing something new, especially if it will help protect John’s legacy.
However, I have to wonder if they will have a moral divide. Kate isn’t known for being cautious in business. The woman has no issue with playing dirty in order to win. Marlena is the opposite. The doctor has a moral compass and a pretty strong one.
While Marlena knows exactly who Kate is, I’m not sure if she has really thought this through. Being friends with Kate is one thing. However, her business partnerships usually sour pretty fast.
I wonder if Marlena will have issues with how Kate does business. If Kate plays dirty, will Marlena feel compelled to warn the competition? Will this somehow destroy their friendship?
