The Young And The Restless Weekly Spoilers: Victor’s Ominous Message As The Abbotts Strike Back

The Young and the Restless weekly spoilers for January 5-9, 2026, reveal another week of all-out war for the Newmans and the Abbotts.
Victor Won’t Give Up
The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is moving his chess pieces all around the board and issues an ominous message meant to unnerve Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and others. Could this message also be for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), who has been torturing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) again after all these years?
Still, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is not happy with her husband because this latest war against Jack has gone on for way too long. Nikki is ready to take matters into her own hands, so she makes a plan with Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) to try to end this latest battle once and for all.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) helps Jack gain intel and leverage against Victor, prompting Jack to go to Victor with an offer. Will Victor just laugh in their faces? Meanwhile, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has just about had it with Jack’s loyalty to Nikki.
Jack and Diane nearly split in 2024 over his intervention to get Nikki to admit to her alcoholism. This war with Victor stems from that and Diane is weary of all of it.

Other Genoa City Happenings
Meanwhile, Nick finds himself suffering a setback when his plans against Matt Clark take a dangerous turn. Sharon Collins (Sharon Case) is worried sick about her men and tries to talk Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) into doing the right thing. And also the less dangerous thing.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants to know what her son has been up to, so Daneil Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) suffers through an interrogation by his mother.
Phyllis is on a roll this week and also tries to encourage Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) to embrace his dark side. With Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) sending Cane mixed signals, Cane just might take Phyllis’ advice.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Holden (Nathan Owens) hash things out and agree to a fresh start. What does that mean for Claire Newman (Hayley Erin)? Does this fresh start only involve friendship or something else?
