The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) desire to make an in-person deal puts him in the unusual position of weakness. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) know they have the Moustache cornered and are determined to crush him.
Meanwhile, Cane’s comments to Phyllis about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) were revealing. He feels sorry for Billy because of the falling out with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), what happened to Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), and various other life factors.
Billy doesn’t want Cane’s pity. However, his feelings will change if Cane offers him a chance to be part of Victor’s downfall.
But Thompson’s character would be going behind Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) back and her advice. He would also be working with a man whom Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) recently tried to partner with but was unable to sway, leaving the head of Jabot more inclined to forge a temporary alliance with, of all people, Victor.
Phyllis has had so many broken relationships. She’s been on and off with husbands, boyfriends, significant others, or whatever one wants to term the various guys she’s been involved with.
Stafford’s character has also faked her death in more recent years, which alienated her children. The only child who’s still in town is Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), who is very concerned about the path she’s chosen to go down.
As she sees it, Cane is her ticket to restored glory. But as fans saw, her daydream fantasy, where Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) bowed to Phyllis, is never going to become reality.
Forcing Victor to the negotiating car was incredible. The car is one in a series of cars on Cane’s glory train copy that he created in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
But Cane is not inclined to show mercy to the man who destroyed the company that his late father, Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), helped him create. Yet, Cane has a dilemma.
Phyllis is the reason why Victor was able to destroy Arabesque. Yet, as is true with Billy, Cane is giving her grace. But that stance isn’t transferable to Victor.
A quick answer to the subject header would be no. However, this question involves more complex analysis.
Billy is someone Cane initially reached out to. Under the guise of Aristotle Dumas, Billy believed he was going to help bring Victor down. Cane still wants to allow that part of the plan to happen.
If the above does transpire, Billy will become an ally. Cane may still believe that he can realize what Colin wanted, meaning a reign in GC. So, Cane has Phyllis; he’s talking with Billy, which should divide the Abbott family.
