The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) just endured a terrible experience. So, being sensitive to threats, Electra detected something unusual in Dylan’s (Sydney Bullock) behavior.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) discovered that Dylan was living in her car. That’s not a scenario she appears to have set up, or some form of ruse that was perpetrated.
Instead, the writing staff decided to incorporate a specific economic topic, which it decided to focus upon for whatever reason, and reintroduce Bullock’s character as part of that plot vehicle. Soap opera fans notice when a message is being pushed. Also, Electra wasn’t wrong in sensing that Dylan is attracted to Will.
Is There A Deeper Tie To Luna Nozawa?
The audience was just taken on a long thrill ride that involved Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). Following that with a similar one where Bullock’s character is swapped in for the seemingly deceased character Yamada, played to daytime perfection, would seem ill-advised.
Yamada won a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. Putting Bullock in a position to replay a story, where Dylan becomes obsessed with Will and insidiously creates mayhem, would be repetitive and one that fans would reject.
However, it’s worthwhile to wonder if a deeper tie between Dylan and Luna exists. So, let’s step back and consider apparent facts.
A Peaceful Art Class At The Beach House Turned Wild
Miss Sunshine is the name Luna used to fool Dylan, who was introduced as Hayes Finnegan’s (Bryan David Garlick) summer art teacher. The remote setting that Dylan worked in allowed Luna to exploit.
All of the above is true unless a revealed history is later provided. Along with what’s known, Luna used a gun and tied Dylan up before attempting to exact her version of justice.
Viewers know what happened between Luna, her grandmother, Sheila Carter Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Now, fans are being asked to revisit their memory banks and consider what impact that outcome had on Dylan.
Damaged By Drama Rather Than Connected To Sheila Carter Sharpe
Fans could learn that Dylan is genetically connected to Luna through Sheila, or somehow knew the woman who wanted Steffy dead before the beach house incident last year. But if not, then Dylan was a healthy young lady who was just starting her career and became one of Luna’s many victims.
Anyone would be likely to suffer post-traumatic stress disorder after being tied, gagged, and assumed she or others might die at the hands of a deranged lunatic. That is the most believable path B&B’s writers could be taking.
But did Dylan accidentally hit Luna on that fateful night, or was she pursuing revenge under the guise of happenstance?
Is Dylan falling for Will because she is overwhelmed by his generosity, and a straight-forward rivalry is developing with Electra for his affection?
The questions and others can be asked because viewers don’t have enough information to know why this seeming side character was purposely written back into the show so soon after Luna-focused storyline came to a sudden, deadly halt.
