That’s because it almost seems like he’s going to propose to Daphne, even though it’s only been less than a few months since he was about to get married to Hope Logan.
You’d think that he would pull the breaks on his love life, but he keeps going full speed ahead. It doesn’t even seem like Carter and Daphne are in a serious relationship, yet the writers of the show are making Carter head over heels in love with the perfume expert.
Not only that, but even The Bold and the Beautiful fans admit that it all seems too much too soon and further confirms that Carter hasn’t had a strong romance since Quinn.
Not only that, but all his other romances either lacked chemistry or made no sense and in this case with Daphne, it’s very undeveloped.
Of course, the internet had a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented, “The writers have completely lost the capacity to figure out what should be developed over time and build up to something exciting and seem to use either repetition or shock to move storylines along.”
What’s Next For Carter?
Another critic wrote, “He’s totally going to propose. When better to propose than when there has barely been anything major happening with them other than a couple of dates, hand holding at the jazz club that she suddenly sings?’
And then there was this comment as well: “In the past few years, he has proposed to Zoe, Paris, I don’t remember if he proposed to Quinn, but I think he said he wanted to marry her, and Hope. I think the only relationship where he didn’t propose or want to was with Katie unless I’m forgetting something.”
“He was not in any of those relationships long before proposing, so I don’t doubt that he’ll propose again soon.”
Clearly, Carter is someone who just can’t stay single for more than just a hot minute, right? But whether or not he does end up proposing to Daphne remains to be seen. Of course, B&B fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
