General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Impossible Choice – Betray Valentin To Save Willow?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) forces Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to make an impossible choice.
He already destroyed the traffic cam evidence against Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) but he’s bearing down on her to keep up her end of the bargain-betraying Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)?
Jack Wants Nina To Use Charlotte Cassadine to Lead Her To Her Father
Jack is sure that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) knows where her father is, and he wants Nina to use her to lead her to her father.
Then once Nina learns his hideout, she’s to report it back to Jack-but there’s a conflict, and she’s torn-if she betrays Valentin, she betrays Charlotte. As Valentin’s former wife, and Charlotte’s former stepmother, she doesn’t know if she can do that in good conscience.
But even though Jack went in and tampered with the evidence against Willow remotely, he has other leverage to use. He made sure he made copies of the traffic cam videos in case he needed to turn them into the PCPD!
Nina’s Between A Rock And A Hard Place
Nina’s between a rock and a hard place-and basically, she’s being blackmailed by someone abusing his authority-how can she fight against something like that?
She can’t expect Charlotte to warn her father, all that would happen then is they’d both be on the run and she’d have Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) at her throat!
It makes it difficult for her to try to talk to Charlotte when Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is guarding her quite a bit of the time as well. It’s a conflict of interest for Nina all the way around, and she has no idea who Brennan’s superior might be-or if he even has one.
Maybe he is the head of the WSB again and set up a field office in Port Charles for some secret reason-he has a little too much authority to be an underling!
What Can Nina Do-She’s Torn
What can Nina do-she’s torn by these demands, she certainly doesn’t want Willow to be put in prison for attempting to kill Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). But she doesn’t want to betray Charlotte and Valentin either; she considers finding out where he is from Charlotte and going to see him herself.
Valentin and Charlotte both trust Nina, and she doesn’t want to break their trust-but how does she know that she herself isn’t being tracked by Brennan’s WSB agents?
Nina’s in a quandary, her heart is torn and her mind is torn as well. She can’t stall Brennan off much longer, and she’s got to think of something!
