General Hospital Finola Hughes Leaks Faison Secrets, Shares Story Behind Wild Anders Hove Reunion

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) recently leaked some Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) secrets and shared the story behind her wild Anders Hove reunion.

Despite Pascal’s (Marc Forget) latest screw-up, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) are still trusting him to handle hostage Anna.

Now that Anna’s twisted treatment has moved to the next stage, she’s clearly being fed a bogus Faison tale. Anna is right to question whether Faison is truly alive since the voice coming from the speaker system is presumably part of the deception.

Nevertheless, GH did rely on Anders Hove to supply that voice and help mess with Anna’s head. That’s something Finola Hughes opened up about in a new interview with SOD.

Hove actually recorded his dialogue all the way in Denmark before it was played in the studio. That gave Hughes an opportunity to act opposite Hove, even if he wasn’t actually there on set with her.

“It was nuts…I was working with him, except he was in Europe and prerecorded it!” Anna said about the experience.

Hove also exchanged text messages with Hughes to prepare for their scenes, so a lot of thought still went into this reunion of sorts.

It’s clear that Hove is a professional who cares about getting it right, so that may be partly why Hughes called him one of her “favorite scene partners of all time.”

Faison faced a grim fate back in 2018, but now Anna’s being tormented by his memory and this whole gaslighting situation. Finola Hughes felt it was an intriguing story strategy that really allowed the writers to dig into Anna’s psyche.

The fact that Hughes was able to share scenes with Hove again – at least in a way – was certainly a bonus.

“And working with Anders, even if he’s 9,000 miles away, is always such a treat!” Hughes said as she gushed over her friend and co-star.
