Days Of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers: The End of Javi And Leo? Chad’s Quest To Keep His Kids

Days of our Lives spoilers for January 19-23, 2026, reveal a sad goodbye with bittersweet family moments, as well as a dad who has to sweet talk one misguided grandmother.

Javi Leaves Salem

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) have to act fast to make sure that Trey is christened before Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) leaves town.

Javi has a flight to catch that might so he can be in Texas when his father has bypass surgery.

Javi finally decides to tell Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) what is going on as they prepare to officially become Trey’s godfathers. Leo is devastated to learn that Javi is leaving and begs him to stay, but Javi is determined to do this alone and is not sure if he will ever be returning.

This will be wonderful news for Dimitry Von Leuchner (Peter Porte), who is determined to win Leo back. With Javi out of the way, it will be so much easier.

Too bad that Gwen Rizcech Von Leuchner (Emily O’Brien) plans to stand in the way just for the fun of it. She relishes in watching Leo and Dimitri’s misery.

Chad Fights For His Kids

It’s finally mediation day for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Matther Ashford and Melissa Reeves). Chad had told his in-law that there is no way he is giving up his kids, so he is not sure what mediation will even accomplish.

Thomas Horton (Cary Christopher) has a big decision to make and turns to Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) for advice.

Thomas might have been angry at his dad a few months ago, but when Chad was missing, Thomas realized how much he loves him. He is just afraid that Chad will want to be with Cat Greene again and that angers him. Will he speak up to the judge? Can this family come to a reasonable resolution?

Other Salem Happenings

Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) has another close call when Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) visits Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) at Bayview. Will Rachel eat something she shouldn’t again to cover for Sophia? Meanwhile, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) clash over Rachel’s care.

And finally, as Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) updates Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) on the stalker, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) make a stunning discovery.
