Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny Edges Out Theo To Become Permanent DiMera CEO

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) may edge out Theo Carver (Tyler Christopher Joseph) to become the permanent DiMera Enterprises CEO.
Johnny decided to step in temporarily in the role while Theo recovered from his crypt kidnapping, but will EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) son step aside so easily when the time comes?
Johnny DiMera’s Loving Life
Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that Johnny was very hesitant to take on the role at first, but the family was in a pinch. As members of the DiMera family were going missing, left, right, and center, Johnny stepped up, as there was no one else to run the company.
Still, now that he’s in the swing of things, it’ll be hard to give up the work and the power that’s been given to him.

During the Tuesday, January 27 episode, Johnny visited Theo for some advice about Bonnie Kiriakis’s (Judi Evans) book.
Theo gave the green light for DiMera to pick up the manuscript, and Johnny encouraged Theo not rush his recovery. Was this foreshadowing something?
Will Johnny Dive Into His DiMera Dark Side?
For the most part, Johnny is a chill character. Sure, he may have said his fair share of lies here and there, but a schemer he is not.
Still, at the end of the day, he is a DiMera, EJ’s son, for that matter, not to mention his mom is the queen of all schemers, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). Could Johnny try to sabotage Theo’s recovery so he can stay on as DiMera’s CEO?
Maybe he won’t go that dark, but could he sabotage Theo at work, during the transition period of handing over duties? Could he call a DiMera board meeting and contest Theo being the company’s CEO?
Anything is possible … but how would Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) feel about Johnny staying on at DiMera, permanently?

Johnny or Theo running a multimillion corporation is a big laugh. What experience do either of them have to hold a position like this? Just a “little bit” of reality from these writers would be nice once in awhile.
