The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Sienna’s Move Backfires — Matt Spirals Into Revenge Mode

The Young and The Restless: Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) wasn’t staying at the Genoa City Athletic Club. But Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and his hit woman, Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge), assumed otherwise.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) outsmarted Matt. Registering Sienna at the GCAC was ingenious because it lured Matt to that location. How he would have known to specifically check there for her required the audience to suspend disbelief.

Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) was Matt’s target earlier this year, though he didn’t know it. It appears that Matt knew his wife’s wandering eye would find Noah appealing, with that relationship not being random but rather a long-game setup.

Traveling All The Way To London, England

Analyzing Matt’s warped thought process isn’t easy. Predicting his future moves isn’t easy either. But Victor, Nick, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) have plenty of experience with this lout.

It seems like Matt determined where Noah was located or, after coming into contact with him, set this plan in motion.

He convinced Noah to travel to Los Angeles, California, on multiple occasions. Noah’s not telling his parents about doing so isn’t overly believable, but it helps to fill in that plot hole.

Matt befriended Noah, or so Adams’ character thought. Then, the connection with Sienna happened, which Matt used as justification for the vengeance play he’s now pursuing in GC.

It’s Good That Sienna Bacall Stayed Put

The conversation Sienna and Sharon had, along with the other pressure Victor and even Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) applied, was too much. Sienna felt it best to flee GC, but was prevented from doing so by the man she truly loves, which is Noah.

Staying put now allows Sienna to serve as the best source of information. While Sharon knew Matt best decades ago, and Nick became familiar with the recast character that daytime veteran Howarth is playing to the hilt, Sienna is Matt’s wife.

Her intel should prove crucial in the coming days or weeks. This tense game is unfolding during the Christmas season. So, fans can wonder if the writing staff will create a quick wrap or pause the final climax until after the big day.

Matt Clark Has Nothing To Lose

Matt is in a corner. It’s hard to know how he financed his way from LA to Wisconsin and included Annie on the bill. But they’re there.

Digitally fleeced by Victor and robbed of all loose cash by Sienna, likely left Matt with fake accounts or some other sources that Braun’s character wasn’t aware of. Having his crooked accomplice with him indicates that she might be more than amoral muscle.

Whining about Sienna’s link to Noah could be a front, with Matt and Annie being an unknown couple. If not, then their only connection is money. So, if he can’t deliver that to Annie, then maybe she’ll turn on him to cop a deal with the local or federal authorities, with Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) potentially reappearing to seal that deal.
