The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Lily Stunned by What She Sees — Cane’s Immature Behavior Backfires
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that remains drawn to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). However, he remains a former flame due to a personality flaw.
This guy is immature, as is the woman who continues to tease him, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). And that’s exactly what she’s doing.
But any fair assessment of the people whom Lily caught kissing on Cane’s ridiculous toy-train-come-to-life car has to include a slam about Flynn’s character. If he didn’t have such terrible business sense, Cane never would have purposely recruited Phyllis and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Aristotle Dumas Wasn’t Great; He Was Foolish
Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) went through a lot to get the fortune he gifted to his son. But Cane squandered the results of his late father’s strenuous, yet admittedly grifting efforts.
Yes, Colin pretended to be someone he wasn’t. That pretense allowed him to gain the massive inheritance of a lady in France. It was her chateau that became to vexing summer backdrop for multiple characters who are normally seen in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Using the plan Colin suggested, Cane developed a persona, Aristotle Dumas, and the corporation he headed, Arabesque. But that’s all gone because Phyllis stole the artificial intelligence weapon that was developed and gave it to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Phyllis Summers Is Playing Everyone?
Billy, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) held a strategy session at the Abbott mansion. They are pulling out all the soapy stops in hopes of saving Jabot from destruction.
One of the bets Billy is making involves Phyllis. He sees her as a last option, but one that’s worthwhile pursuing.
All Phyllis is asking for is Marchetti. She wants it to be signed over to Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) in exchange for delivering the AI weapon to Billy.
But Billy thinks Phyllis might be playing everyone, and her latest visit to Cane’s train appears to reinforce his suspicion.
Lily Winters’ Conversation Followed By Shocker
The nostalgic conversation Lily had with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) at Society linked their remembrances of Colin Carlton (Tammin Sursok) to Cane. Traci suggested that Lily was still attracted to Cane.
Lily has never dismissed Cane, when she could have many times. The broken relationship he has with their children is a real issue. It’s also fronted as a reason for this two-time married couple to stay connected.
But seeing another romantic scene between Phyllis and Cane was shocking. Cane created a somewhat believable response when Lily asked him about the first incident, which happened at Society weeks ago.
This time is different, and it upends his chance of celebrating Christmas with the woman he loves, which definitely isn’t Phyllis. But Lily can’t know that based on what she saw.
