The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Claire Focused On The Wrong Person—Victor Is A Bigger Threat Than Audra?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that during the December 18 epi, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) found out how the Abbott Communication launch party went down in flames.

At Crimson Lights she talked to Kyle (Michael Mealor) about it and tried to justify and minimalize Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) actions.
She expressed her support to him but Kyle was reluctant to drag her into it seeing as how their families are at war.

Claire and Kyle Discuss Business

Claire asked if Victor was behind the trashy post that came out of Newman Media and Kyle responded that Victor has Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) illegal AI program and used it to ruin Arabesque.

Naive Claire refused to believe Kyle and asked for proof. She also wanted to know if Victor used the AI on Jabot.

Victor is Making Enemies Left and Right

Kyle explained that Newman Media released a piece exposing the Jabot shutdown and that Victor didn’t intend to use the AI on the company.

Claire thought Kyle overreacted and defended Victor.

Claire and Kyle Not Solid

Claire was groomed by Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to be paranoid and vengeful. That sounds exactly like Victor so is it any wonder that she defends and trusts her grandfather?

Even after he tried to break up Klaire with Audra (Zuleyka Silver), Claire still makes excuses for him.

What Happens Next in Genoa City, Wisconsin?

Is Claire incredibly dense about Victor’s true character? She’s just met him, relatively speaking, and gave him her solid trust. She is backing this horse to the finish!

Unlike Victor, Audra is the real worrisome after she slapped Claire and Claire tried to choke Audra. We see these two escalating tensions in the coming days, don’t you?

Right now Claire is intent on getting revenge on Audra and blind to Victor’s machinations. Kyle is helping her and they both hope to take down the villain once and for all.
