The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Diane Realizes Unexpected Ally – Phyllis Wants To Get Victor Too

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) believes that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is a criminal. In addition to all the amoral and illegal acts he’s personally committed or authorized over the decades, she, like her husband, thinks the Dark Knight has stolen property and has used it against Arabesque.
Diane, again like Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), would be okay with anyone else attacking the company Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) built with his late father, Colin Atkinson (the late, great Tristan Rogers).
Cane’s terminology, meaning the word built, is something Victor has challenged, believing that Colin conned an elderly woman into giving him her fortune upon her death.
That’s why the head of Newman Enterprises, facing Cane’s artificial intelligence weapon, accepted Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) hacked gift.
Phyllis Summers Can Turn State’s Evidence
Phyllis committed a crime when hacking Cane’s computer system. She did so in response to him deciding that the Aristotle Dumas ruse was over and that he was changing course.
She also made her move in response to Cane wanting to reconcile with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), whom he planned to give the artificial intelligence software to. Phyllis wasn’t going to let that happen, stole the digital weapon, and then made a stunning move.
Agreeing to turn this type of weapon over to Victor made no sense, outwardly. But Phyllis’ deception can’t be logically separated from the rightful grudge she harbors for him having inflicted Marco Annicelli (Bergman in a dual role) into her personal life during the period when Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) portrayed this character.
Phyllis was violated by that doppelganger, whom she believed was Jack. That alone can lead viewers to conclude that Phyllis never intended to trade the AI weapon for control of Jabot. Instead, she arguably must be setting Victor up for a takedown where she can prove to the authorities that he committed a crime.
Turning state’s evidence is a catchy subject header. It’s also something that wouldn’t be simple for Phyllis to realize.

Jack Abbott’s Plan Involves Deception As Well
Jack and Diane bumped into Victor while they were out and about during the pre-Christmas season. They saw the Grinch of Genoa City, Wisconsin, and he lied as is his normal bent.
Victor didn’t acknowledge having Cane’s AI weapon but uttered his normal red herring lines to them and left. Jack verbally jousted, as normal, while naturally withholding his developing plan from the Moustache.
The head of Jabot plans to move its financial assets out, shut the company down, and wait for approximately three months. Where that seemingly arbitrary number came from is unknown.
Diane Jenkins Abbott Will Work With Her Other Enemy
If Phyllis had one of her wishes, Diane would have never returned from the dead. Of course, Phyllis created a fake death as well, but that only lasted a matter of months compared to Diane’s decade-plus evaporation.
However, both ladies, Jack, and countless others share a common enemy in Victor. So, if Phyllis cops to it, she can join the Abbotts in trying to take Victor down.
The proof Diane wants to find is located inside Phyllis’ mind and possibly, within the AI tool she stole from Cane and recently delivered to Victor on a soapy platter.
