The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Courtney Hope’s Major Announcement About Her Upcoming 2026 Project

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra) dishes about her upcoming project for 2026. The actress revealed that she is officially returning to the wonderfully chaotic, supernatural role of Director Jesse Faden in Control Resonant, the eagerly awaited sequel to Remedy Entertainment’s successful game Control.
While Sally Spectra Prepares For The Grand Launch Party, Courtney Hope Has Exciting News
As Sally Spectra busily prepares for the grand launch party of Abbott Communications on The Young and the Restless, her real-life counterpart, Courtney Hope, has just revealed some exciting news.
Hope took to Instagram to share the announcement, teasing her followers with a phrase that resonates perfectly within the show’s universe: “Weirder is right… Control Resonant 2026!!” She further built anticipation for the game by stating: “Explore a warped Manhattan on the brink of paranatural annihilation in CONTROL Resonant…”
Set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam & Epic), and Mac in 2026, she urged everyone to add it to their wishlist right away. That’s right, Courtney gets really busy, playing both Sally Spectra on the CBS soap and bringing life to a character in a popular game.

Courtney Played Jesse Faden, Director Of The Federal Bureau Of Control
For those needing a reminder, Hope previously lent her voice and brought to life Jesse Faden, the no-nonsense Director of the Federal Bureau of Control. She battled the sinister Hiss within the mind-bending labyrinth known as the Oldest House.
Her portrayal even garnered her a win for “Best Performance” at the New York Video Game Awards, along with nominations at both the BAFTAs and The Game Awards. So, fans certainly have ample reason to be thrilled; while Jesse may not be the primary playable character this time, she remains an integral part of the narrative.
In the preview, her voice warns her brother Dylan-who is the lead in this game-that “it’s gonna get weirder,” which in the Control universe essentially means: prepare yourself.
The Sequel Jumps Seven Years Ahead
Remedy officially announced Control Resonant at the 2025 Game Awards, stating that the sequel takes place seven years later and completely leaves the Oldest House. Instead, the setting is a paranormally altered Manhattan, transformed by an Altered World Event (AWE); a larger world, higher stakes, and lots of strangeness.
Fans flooded Courtney’s Instagram comments as soon as the news was released-one thrilled follower commented, “AAA I’M BEYOND EXCITED FOR YOUR RETURN.”
Control Resonant is expected to launch in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam & Epic), and Mac via Steam and the App Store. There’s no specific release date yet-but if Jesse says it’s going to get weirder, we’re definitely ready.
