The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Audra’s Misstep Blows Up & Nate Has Nothing to Do With It
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Audra Cortes (Zuleyka Silver) has been using a fake last name since she stole a half-million-dollar check and then did something far worse.
That was a handful of years before Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) ever met the woman who now wants to critique his latest romantic choice.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is a good choice. Nate was friends with Victoria, and they briefly dated. Yes, she is a stark and positive contrast to the former Miss Charles.
Audra is simultaneously seeking a second chance from Nate while keeping quiet about what happened in Los Angeles, California. But the partial story Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) revealed to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) sets up as the next self-sabotage boomerang that will hit Audra hard.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) made Audra’s acquaintance when she was in college. That’s a nice way of saying how they met and what their relationship, another euphemism, was.
Tucker liked Audra’s outer qualities and also believed she possessed a certain type of cunning that McCall Unlimited would benefit from. So, she became his protege in business and his paramour, another term that splashes bright paint on this transactional pairing.
By the time St. John was set to depart the cast, Audra betrayed Tucker. She worked for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to secure Glissade, which proved to be a misguided effort on her part. Victor injected Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) into that cosmetics business as part of an effort to make Kyle stray from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Nate Hastings Gained Clarity After Brother’s Death
Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) was Nate’s brother, but neither man knew the other until Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) confirmed that reality. Damian rejected the genetic news but soon came around to having a sibling.
Nate bonded with his paternal brother and was just starting to get to know Damian on a deeper level when he died. Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) dedicated but deranged assistant, Carter (Vincent Stalba), killed Damian. He believed doing so would help his boss reclaim love with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
When Audra returned from that disastrous trip to the south of France, Nate learned what she did with Kyle. Dominic’s character was out, and Audra was devastated but believed she could reverse that misfortune.
Audra Cortes Continues Her Bad Pattern
Tying herself to Tucker was the start or continuation of a pattern. Harboring feelings for Kyle, while claiming to be dedicated to Nate, furthered her me-first behavior.
Now, with Nate finding comfort with Victoria, Audra sees the results of her actions. Naturally, she doesn’t like it.
Silver is a sharp actor who has made what should be an unlikable character into someone that accepting fans can feel sorry for. That’s great soap, with Audra’s jarring ride providing satisfying scenes for the audience.
