The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Audra Can’t Help Herself – Claire Pushed Back To Kyle

The Young and The Restless: Audra Cortes (Zuleyka Silver)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Audra Cortes (Zuleyka Silver), her recently revealed real last name, remains her worst enemy. Viewers and the residents of Genoa City, Wisconsin, have rarely seen her good side, with Audra’s bad side again emerging when Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) appears.

There is no reason for Audra to be going after Claire, especially because she knows that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) revealed a partial story about what happened in Los Angeles, California. Audra must believe that going on offense will scare Erin’s character into backing off.

Well, that bravado assumption was proven dead wrong at Society when both ladies had a physical altercation.

Claire Newman Street Smart But Inexperienced In Romance

Claire grew up in a weird environment, unless one lives in a soapy world. So, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) stole her at birth and raised her to mine grievances against her parents and the Newman family, in particular, happened.

Dating any guy was out of the question due to the repressed lifestyle Jordan forced her to live. Claire had natural feelings as she grew toward adulthood, but wasn’t able to act on them until she broke from Jordan in GC.

One lasting element that benefits Claire following Jordan’s departure from this earth is clear. She possesses street smarts and knows how to defend herself from real threats, which Audra represents. Claire is no pushover, as Silver’s increasingly frazzled character thinks.

Kyle Abbott Reestablishing Trust Through Patience

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) finally got the message. He smothered Claire, who couldn’t take it, and turned to Holden as an alternative.

With whatever Holden and Audra did in LA, he sincerely cares for Claire and wants the best for her. Unlike Audra, Holden appears to have learned from his mistakes and is trying to use his new home to be a better person and create a stable present and future.

Kyle disliked Holden because he knew Claire liked him. Recognizing that he needed to give her the distance she created through the breakup and trip to California provided Kyle with a renewed prospective. That outlook helped make a Thanksgiving get-together possible and allowed Claire to see Kyle as the right guy to help her respond to Audra, whom they both distrust.

Audra Cortes Needs To Seek Therapy

Audra spoke openly with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about her childhood, saying that it wasn’t functional. He was the first person viewers were aware of who treated her with respect. Nate saw Audra’s heart, which she almost always conceals.

However, Audra is unable to see that her self-destructive pattern persists. Holden has repeatedly failed to get through to her, and Kyle’s piercing comments only make her mad.

Slapping Claire at Society escalates Audra’s spin-out, who only has Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as a friend. So, Hope’s character might be the last person capable of putting a mirror in front of Audra’s highly appealing face and making her look beyond the surface beauty that she uses as a shield or a weapon, if it’s a guy, against the world.
