The Young and the Restless Spoilers: 2 Newman Quitters, Adam & Chelsea’s Joint Exit Enrages Victor?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that two Newman quitters could be coming up. Will Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) joint exit from Newman Media enrage Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)?
In the December 18 episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) blew his top over Adam betraying their friendship for Victor. Chelsea wasn’t spared either since she’s part of the Newman Media team, even if she didn’t sign off on the latest Jabot trashing.
It’s clear that as long as Adam and Chelsea remain at Newman Media, nothing is going to change. Chelsea pointed out that they don’t really run anything; they just take orders from Victor and push the narratives that he wants.
Even if Victor ultimately backs off Jack and Jabot for a while, there’ll inevitably be new ways for him to play dirty through Newman Media. As far as Victor is concerned, that’s what it’s for!
However, Chelsea has come a long way from the con artist she used to be and wants to keep moving in the right direction. Adam has grown a lot as well, so Chelsea’s worried about them losing their souls while being used as Newman pawns.
Chelsea feels like they should have careers that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) can be proud of, but that can happen when they’re slinging mud and resorting to all this backstabbing.
It certainly seems like Chelsea could be on the verge of quitting Newman Media, so it’s perhaps just a matter of whether Adam will go with her. Based on Chelsea’s pitch and Adam’s reaction, it feels like Y&R might be setting up a joint Newman Media exit.
Adam worked hard to rebuild his relationship with Chelsea and may not want to risk it for this Newman Media job. Although Adam doesn’t want to ruin the bond he’s formed with Victor either, it may take a hit if he announces he’s leaving Newman Media with Chelsea.
Victor will be furious if Adam and Chelsea depart the company, but this could perhaps open the door for someone like Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) to take over instead.
Since Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has experience at Newman Media, she might even get rehired and end up working with her ex! It’d be a good way to pair Noah and Audra up again if that’s where their storyline is headed.
Whatever the case, some Newman Media shakeups could be looming if Chelsea and Adam go through with quitting together.
