General Hospital Spoilers: This Plothole in Jason and Carly’s Friendship is Growing Wider
General Hospital spoilers lament that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are a far cry from the besties we’ve been used to for the last twenty years, and the idea that they never see each other is growing stale.
Earlier this year, their friendship hit some bumps in the road when Jason warned Carly a little more than she liked about getting wrapped up with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna). But here’s the thing…Carly has been eating crow for two months now.
She’s got a mouth full of it and has ever since Jason filled her in on what really happened with Jack and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Knowing Jack used her to lure her daughter into the WSB, likely under awful circumstances, has been crippling for Carly. So, where is Jason while she needs support and is instead scheming with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) across the kitchen table?

Ding Dong Ditch
Jason told Carly the truth about Jack’s menacing ways back in mid-October. Then he just seemed to ghost her. We didn’t see them get together for the holidays.
We haven’t seen them touch base since then or discuss how to protect Joss or get her out of the WSB. Instead, she’s been conspiring with Valentin on how to ruin Jack.
That’s great for revenge and all, but it doesn’t make sense that Jason would drop a bomb like that on Carly and then leave her to handle the fallout.
In fact, he has historically always done the opposite. Normally, he would expect Carly to do something rash and emotional in this situation, and he’d be watching her like a hawk. What happened?
GH Spoilers Report Carly is Still “With” Jack
In a normal world, Jason being Carly’s best friend who already hates Jack, he would be questioning why she’s still with the guy.
She can’t possibly have forgiven him for what he has done. Jason knows better than that. So why isn’t he questioning what is happening, what Carly’s plan is, or making sure she isn’t making a bigger mess out of things going rogue with her own plan — which she absolutely is on track to do.
Jason would never approve of her hooking up with Valentin, who is now a fugitive from justice. At the very least, he would want to be involved to protect her, but he’s nowhere to be found.

About That Truce…
Earlier this year, Jason and Carly agreed they would stay out of each others’ way when it comes to their love lives.
Carly wasn’t going to stop seeing Jack despite warnings from everyone around her, and Jason had to accept that. One would think the terms of that agreement would shift now that Carly knows the truth, but apparently not.
Maybe Jason doesn’t want to renege on it because he still expects Carly to keep her nose out of his business — especially if he has designs on making a go of things again with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
