General Hospital Spoilers: Rocco’s Future Teased — Which Mother’s Footsteps Is He Following?

General Hospital Spoilers gossip Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) has been kicking up dust lately, and the fans are here for it. Still, we’re surprised that Rocco a usually meek and mild kid has upped the ante and become the type of kid who pounds drinks at college parties and lies to his parents about where he’s at and what he’s doing.
While fans might have expected that Rocco take after his dad, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), given that he spent more time being raised by him while Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) was in a coma for four years, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
It appears that the most difficult parts of Rocco for his parents to deal with are those that we saw Laura Collins (Genie Francis) struggle with when raising Lulu, too. Does this kid stand a chance against the internal desire to satisfy every bit of curiosity that ever crosses his path?
Dante is the More Grounded of the Two
Ever since we first met Dante, he’s been a by-the-book kind of guy. He came onto the scene working undercover for the NYPD and tracking Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) moves. Knowing him only as a mob boss and not as his father, Dante was bent on taking him down.
In the end, Sonny shot his son, and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) burst in to save him and told Sonny the truth. Over the years since, we’ve seen a whole lot of forgiveness and love from Dante, but little in the way of compromising himself.
He has stayed true to his word that he won’t forsake his morals or career to spare his dad. Rocco always seemed like he was going to have a better relationship with his father than Dante had with Sonny.
Dante has never really let his son down, and Rocco doesn’t hold Dante to standards that are nearly impossible for him to attain. They’ve mostly been two peas in a pod, or so we thought.

GH Spoilers Say Lulu Always Did Have a Zest for Adventure
While Rocco seemed like a carbon copy of Dante — affectionate, stable, courteous, and kind — he’s starting to look a bit more like his mother, Lulu, with each passing day.
Lulu has always been the adventurous type. She gets it honest from her own parents — Laura and Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
Lulu’s passion for the truth and transparency make Rocco’s secrets particularly heartwrenching, but she’s trying to respect his desire to navigate life as a teen in his own way. Still, we can’t say we don’t see a lot of young Lulu in this kid.
A New Side to Rocco
Lulu might be Rocco’s mom, but for the first seven months of his life, his name was Ben and his mom was Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Is anyone else thinking Rocco might turn out to have a streak of Britt and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in him that makes him even more of a risk taker than Lulu ever was?
Some fans are starting to think there may be room for Rocco and Britt to bond over how much he sees himself in her — even if it’s completely delusional and just Rocco looking for a tether to her. But why is so keen on stepping away from his parents and finding someone else to latch onto?
It seems we’re going to see a new side to Rocco as his story arc continues to play out. Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers so you don’t miss a beat of it.
