General Hospital Spoilers: Obrecht Isn’t Stupid, Why Doesn’t She Realize What’s Going On With Britt?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is a hypocrite for shunning her daughter Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) while she encourages Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to forgive her mother Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

During the November 26 episode Liesl told Willow to forgive Nina and arranged for them to meet. When Willow resisted, Obrecht got passionate and gave an enthusiastic speech about second chances.

Liesl Ordered Willow to Forgive Nina

Obrecht reminded Willow how family works when she tried to argue about Nina’s many mistakes. As Obrecht railed on, it was hard not to think of her own self-imposed estrangement from her own daughter, Britt.

Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) tried to arrange peace which led to Britt joining Liesl, Nathan and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) for a talk.

Liesl is a Hypocrite

But despite the niceties, Liesl remains on the outs with Britt. Maybe someone needs to give her a friendly push just as she shoved Willow?

Britt and Obrecht want to reunite, and Nina might achieve that if she learns that Britt was coerced into faking her death.

Fans recently learned from Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) mouth that one day Britt just woke up at the Five Poppies Resort and was forced to go along with his plan.

What Happens Next in Port Charles?

Britt knows her situation is complicated but she can’t reveal too much because she would endanger herself, the situation, and Liesl. She has to tread carefully because this is a delicate circumstance and Jenz has shown himself to be a ruthless, cold-blooded killer.

But what is at stake is a warm relationship between Obrecht and Britt. Do you think that Obrecht should be wise enough to realize that Britt is in a coerced situation?

Liesl is a brilliant mastermind so it makes sense that she would sense something extremely deviant is happening with Britt and her return from the dead. The same can be said for her son Nathan’s return from the dead.
