Could this just be a matter of bad timing? That’s what a lot of General Hospital fans can’t help but wonder as they have noticed this odd change on the show.

That’s because it’s the holiday season and yet it looks like no one has decorated their homes – or any of the General Hospital sets for that matter – on the soap.
But then again, some eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that the residents of this fictional town have just finished celebrating Thanksgiving.
So, this could possibly point to everyone decorating their homes for Christmas and the holidays sometime in January. There’s also the possibility that the episodes are delayed because of all the baseball games that have been aired on the ABC network over the summer.
Clearly, GH fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even took to social media to comment with, “A few episodes back they did have Joss give Carly that tree topper and Dante asked Gio to decorate Lulu’s for Christmas (as well as asked Lulu afterwards). So it must be happening soon.”
Is Christmas Coming To Port Charles Soon?
Another fan of the show wrote, “They were behind at thanksgiving, so they are probably still behind. I’m still waiting as well to see if my prediction comes true and Gio gets a new Violin and plays again for Christmas (even if Christmas on the show is a few days late).”
And then there was this comment as well: “I think December holidays in PC will be in full swing by next week… GH just got over Thanksgiving, now playing catchup if you will a time jump forward. Soaps are never on time, they are either early or behind.”
“They do this from time to time to keep up with the changing seasons and celebrated holidays.”
Here’s hoping that the holiday spirit is going to hit the streets of Port Charles soon enough, right? Fingers crossed.
