General Hospital Spoilers: Curtis Hired A Hit On Drew — But Someone Else Beat Him To The Punch
General Hospital spoilers claim Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had a pretty prominent flashback this week that flipped the script on the investigation into Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison).
While being grilled by Detective Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), Curtis didn’t cave to the pressure to change his story.
But we got to see inside Curtis’mind in those few moments in the PCPD interrogation room, where it was that on the night of Drew’s shooting, Curtis met with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and negotiated a hired hit with her.
That’s right, Curtis was willing to pay Selina to have Drew killed, and she assured him she knew the guy for the job and would have it done within two hours. But that doesn’t mean that’s what happened, does it?
General Hospital Spoilers — The Timeline Tracks
Curtis wasn’t at The Savoy for very long the night that Drew was shot, but he didn’t think ahead well enough to know the PCPD would check the security logs to be sure of the time he came and went.
That log alone leaves him unaccounted for during the time that Drew would have been shot, and so far, Curtis has been operating under the assumption that Selina’s operation was successful. Just because he’s not the one who pulled the trigger doesn’t mean he’s not culpable.
GH Spoilers Tease Someone Got There First
Curtis hired Selina to have Drew killed, but that doesn’t mean someone didn’t beat her hit man to the punch.
Like many have said several times already, there was and is a long list of people who would like to see Drew dead. It isn’t surprising how far many of them would go to make it happen either.
This is a soap opera after all. Almost everyone seems to think they can get away with murder and no one will notice. Any number of people could have had the same plan for Drew that night, especially after what had just been revealed regarding his affair with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), during his would-be wedding to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
General Hospital Spoilers — Selina May Know the Truth
If Selina’s henchman couldn’t take Drew out because someone else had just tried to, they may or may not have reported such back to her. We’re all wondering how that henchman is because there was something so off about her statement to Curtis that she already knew the perfect guy for the job.
Regardless, now we must question whether Selina knew she didn’t earn that cool million Curtis gave her.
