The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jack’s Empire at Risk — Phyllis Eyes the CEO Seat

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is closer to losing his family business than he believes. Whatever so-called precautions his tech team took aren’t enough to prevent an artificial intelligence attack that should render Jabot as defeated as Arabesque.
Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) digital weapon was built and intended to allow him to take control of Genoa City, Wisconsin’s legacy companies. But a foolish hiring decision welcomed a thief into Cane’s small, inner circle.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hacked and then gave the AI tool to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who made a totally unexpected first strike. Instead of going after Jack, he took out the business that Cane’s ill-gotten gains created.
Colin Atkinson Wanted To Help His Son
Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) and Victor aren’t all that different, though the founder and head of Newman Enterprises would never admit that.
Cane’s late father, like Victor, believed in doing whatever he had to do so that his family’s fortunes could be advanced.
So, as Cane later learned, Colin romanced an older, rich woman who held a massive amount of assets, including the chateau in the south of France that viewers came to know as containing a deluxe train and a maze.
The plan Colin achieved allowed him to inherit great wealth and then gift it to Cane upon his death. Flynn’s character used it to create Arabesque and have his computer minions invent an artificial intelligence tool that can apparently invade any company’s computer system, destabilize its finances, and leave it open for takeover.
Cane Ashby Tipped Jack Abbott Off
Cane recently stopped by the Abbott mansion. He wanted to personally tell Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) that his AI weapon was stolen, with Phyllis being the probable culprit, and that Victor gained control of it.

Jack immediately knew that he would face a mortal threat to the cosmetics business that his father founded. Devoted viewers recall a storyline from decades ago where Victor upended Jabot, with John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) being outraged. Jack swore vengeance, with that only being part of the blood feud he and Victor have waged.
There seems to be no known way to block the digital demon Victor possesses. Braeden’s character and his corporate enforcer, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), currently deny that reality while Jack, Diane, and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) prepare for this major battle.
Phyllis Summers Promised Jabot In The Deal
Phyllis was flummoxed when she learned that Cane’s company was attacked. Her plan, despite what’s been publicly said, was to bring Victor down, not Cane, Jack, or anyone else.
She’s been promised to head Jabot in the near future now that she’s delivered on her end of the deal made with Victor. But one never knows if he’ll renege.
However, the audience can only imagine how the Abbotts will respond if Phyllis is given the keys to that iconic beauty business. Whether she’ll be able to execute her plan to thwart Victor will be deeply tested by that point in the plot.
